Questions worth asking before you book an event

A short list of questions, asked before you pay a deposit, does more to protect an event booking than any amount of portfolio browsing.

  • How many images will I actually receive, and how many of those are retouched?
  • What if the weather, venue or schedule changes on the day?
  • How long until I see a proofing gallery, and how long after that until every last file is actually delivered and usable?
  • Is travel beyond central London included?
  • Can I see a full, unedited example of a similar session, not just the highlights reel?

None of this is awkward to ask. Any photographer worth booking will have clear answers ready, and Emmet.t.c’s event bookings (quoted per hours on the ground and deliverables) are built to answer every one of these before you commit.

FAQs

Some quick answers here.

Will you work with our branding and shot list?
Happily. Brand guidelines, sponsors that need coverage and the moments that matter all get captured first, before hunting for the good candid shots.

Can you deliver images the same night?
Yes, for press-sensitive events. A selects folder can go out while the event is still running.
