Music videos are quoted per project, because a one-room performance film and a multi-location shoot are not the same job. Send the track and the idea and a number comes back.

“Understood the track before I’d finished explaining it. The video matched the song, not just the artist.”

03 Music video: FAQs

What sort of budgets do you work with?

Independent ones. Most of the music work here is made for artists and small labels rather than major-label budgets, and the approach is built around that: one person, a tight shoot, and the money going on the things that end up on screen.

Do you shoot performance or narrative?

Both, and a lot of videos end up somewhere between. Performance is the cheaper of the two to shoot well, so if the budget is tight that is usually where the strongest version lives.

Can you film a live session?

Yes. Live sessions are one of the best value things an act can make, because one afternoon in a decent room can produce several releases.

Do you help with the concept?

Yes, if you want that. Some artists arrive with the whole thing storyboarded and some arrive with a track and a feeling. Both are workable, but the second one needs a conversation before the shoot rather than on it.

Who sorts locations and permits?

That gets agreed at the quote stage. Some locations are free and easy, some need a permit and a fee, and it is much cheaper to find that out before the shoot date is locked.

Do you deliver vertical cuts too?

Yes, and they are worth asking for up front. If the video is shot knowing a vertical cut is coming, the framing allows for it, which is far better than cropping in later.

When do we get the video back?

A delivery date is agreed at booking and written into the quote, based on the length of the video and how many versions you need.
