Booking a wedding film for the festive season

The run-up to Christmas and the first weeks of a new year are some of the busiest for wedding films, for fairly obvious reasons: end-of-year reviews, family time, and a natural moment to mark something new.

Booking earlier than usual is the main practical advice here. Availability tightens noticeably from late November, and studio slots in particular go quickly. If a specific date matters, get in touch well ahead rather than assuming a late booking will work out.

FAQs

Two common questions, answered.

Do you include drone footage?
Where the venue allows it, yes. Aerial shots of the venue and grounds are a nice addition to a highlights film, subject to permission on the day.

Can we book film alongside photography?
Yes, and most couples do. Shooting both under one roof means one crew, one visual language, and no awkward hand-off between separate photo and video teams on the day.
