Questions worth asking before you book a product launch

A short list of questions, asked before you pay a deposit, does more to protect a product launch booking than any amount of portfolio browsing.

  • How many images will I actually receive, and how many of those are retouched?
  • What if the weather, venue or schedule changes on the day?
  • How long until I see a proofing gallery, and how long after that until every last file is actually delivered and usable?
  • Is travel beyond central London included?
  • Can I see a full, unedited example of a similar session, not just the highlights reel?

None of this is awkward to ask. Any photographer worth booking will have clear answers ready, and Emmet.t.c’s product launch bookings (quoted per hours and same-night delivery needs) are built to answer every one of these before you commit.

Can you cover press and influencer attendees specifically?
Yes, a shot list covering key press and influencer guests can be built in ahead of time, so nobody important is missed in the coverage.

We are a new brand. How do we avoid the launch looking cheap?
That is the whole job. Considered framing, proper light and clean product shots are the difference between a launch that looks established and one that looks like a first attempt.
